Description

S8D Performance Features

The S8D gives operators the power, belt speed, and part support needed for tough daily sanding jobs in industrial shops.

Wide Belt Contact Area

The wide belt face gives operators more room to handle larger parts, longer edges, flat stock, and repeat sanding work.

Strong 7.5 HP Motor

The 7.5 HP motor helps the S8D handle tough grinding, cleanup, and finishing jobs without slowing down under regular shop use.

Fast 3,500 SFPM Belt Speed

The fast belt speed helps remove material quickly while giving operators better control over the final result.

Adjustable Cast Iron Work Table

The 8 x 12 inch cast iron table supports the part during sanding and helps operators hold a steady working angle.

Air-Powered Belt Tensioning

The air-powered tension system makes belt changes faster, easier, and more consistent during busy production days.

Simple One-Knob Belt Tracking

The one-knob tracking system helps operators line up the belt quickly and keep it running in the right position.

Heavy Steel Frame and Stand

The steel frame and stand give the machine a solid base for demanding use in fabrication, repair, and production settings.

Replaceable Steel Platen

The replaceable platen gives the belt firm backing during use and can be changed when wear builds up over time.

Sealed Ball Bearings

Sealed ball bearings help support smoother operation and reduce exposure to dust and debris from daily sanding work.

Multiple Abrasive Belt Options

Operators can run different belt types to match the material, finish, and amount of stock that needs to be removed.

6 Inch Dust Port

The 6 inch dust port connects to a dust collection system to help manage dust around the sanding area.

Magnetic Controls with Jog Button

The magnetic controls and jog button help operators start, stop, and check belt movement during setup.
