K26E Performance Features
A quick look at the K26E’s cutting power, wet cutting system, capacity, and configuration options.
Cooler Cuts. Cleaner Samples.
The integrated coolant pump and tank keep fluid on the cut from start to finish, helping reduce heat buildup and burn marks so samples come off cleaner and ready for testing.
3-Phase Cutting Power
Standard 40 HP motor available in 220V or 440V, with additional horsepower options to match your material, cut frequency, and application requirements.
Heavy-Duty Abrasive Wheel Setup
Uses a 26" abrasive wheel with a 1" spindle arbor, 7" flanges, and a 1,528 RPM spindle speed for industrial abrasive cutting applications.
Enclosed Cabinet Design
The cabinet helps contain coolant, debris, and noise during cutting, with a 6" outlet for ventilation or collection setup.
Controlled Power Down-Feed
The air/oil power down-feed provides a 0–12 FPM controlled feed rate for flat, square, repeatable cuts.
Built for Multiple Stock Types
Handles up to 7" pipe, 5" solids, and 8" shapes. Left-side cabinet through-holes support longer stock.
Configurable Workholding Options
Available options include air-jawed or air-chain vises, door safety interlocks, a bed filter system, T-slot tables, and a moveable X-axis table.
Made in Michigan. Built for Long-Term Support.
Engineered, built, and supported in Kalamazoo, Michigan since 1960, with service and replacement-part support available for long-term ownership.
Built for foundry cleanup. Ready for automation.
The BG614-36 fits foundries, cleanup departments, and robotic cells that need a practical way to cut, grind, and move castings through finishing with less handling.
Foundries & casting cleanup teams
Built for iron, steel, aluminum, and brass foundries, the BG614-36 supports daily cleanup work on gates, risers, sprues, flash, parting lines, and rough casting surfaces. It works well as a metal casting cleanup station where operators need cutting and grinding close together.
Robotic cells & production finishing
Robotic integrators and production teams can use this dual station saw and grinder in an automated foundry finishing cell where repeatable cleanup, controlled part flow, and less part handling matter.
Is the K26E Right for Your Cutting Application?
Use this quick guide to see where the K26E fits, what it cuts, and when it makes sense for your shop, lab, or production floor.
What is the K26E?
The K26E is a 26 inch enclosed wet abrasive cutoff saw built for metallurgical sample prep, coupon cutting, and production abrasive cutting. It gives operators a steady way to cut samples, coupons, pipe, solids, and structural shapes.
Who should use it?
Use the K26E when your team needs dependable abrasive cutting capacity, repeatable results, and an enclosed wet cutting process for samples, coupons, or production material.
Where is it used?
The K26E works best where cutting quality, coolant control, and debris containment matter during material preparation. It works well when teams need a metallurgical cutoff saw or coupon cutting saw for repeatable material prep.
When should you choose it?
Choose the K26E when you need a larger enclosed saw with wet cutting, power down-feed, and room for multiple stock types. It is a good choice when your process calls for cleaner cuts, better containment, and steady production support.
Why choose the K26E?
The K26E combines wet abrasive cutting, a fully enclosed cabinet, steady feed control, and heavy-duty cutting power in one machine. For lab teams, it works as a wet metallurgical sample saw. For production teams, it works as a production abrasive cutoff saw that can be configured around the job.
How does it work?
The operator secures the material, starts the coolant flow, and uses the air/oil power down-feed to control the cut. The coolant system keeps fluid on the wheel and material while the enclosed cabinet helps contain coolant, debris, and noise.
