Description

S10HW Performance Features

The S10HW 10 x 90 inch wet belt sander is built for shops that need steady part control, coolant flow, and repeatable results on demanding metalworking jobs.

Large 10 x 90 inch belt area

The larger abrasive belt surface supports steady contact, smoother passes, and efficient work on larger parts, flat surfaces, edges, and welded areas.

Coolant-Fed Abrasive Finishing

The wet sanding system applies coolant at the work area to help manage heat, carry away debris, and support cleaner abrasive belt performance.

How the Wet Sanding System Works

The abrasive belt runs horizontally while coolant flows to the work area. This helps control heat, move debris away from the part, and produce cleaner sanding, polishing, and finishing results.

Horizontal Workpiece Control

The horizontal layout gives operators a stable working position for guiding parts across the belt with better control during finishing and cleanup work.

Consistent Surface Preparation

Use the S10HW to prepare parts before coating, welding, assembly, or final finishing when a cleaner, more uniform surface is required.

Smoother Finish Quality

The wet abrasive process helps operators produce smoother, more controlled finishes on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, castings, weldments, and fabricated components.

Reduced Heat During Operation

Coolant helps limit heat buildup at the contact point, which can improve operator control and help protect both the workpiece and abrasive belt.

Made for Repetitive Shop Work

The S10HW is built for daily use when operators need repeatable sanding, cleaning, blending, and finishing performance throughout the workday.

Long-Term Machine Support

Kalamazoo Industries supports its equipment with replacement parts and service knowledge to help shops keep machines running over the long term.
