KB86050 8 X 60 INCH 50 GRIT DRY ALUMINUM OXIDE BELT SET

Heavy-duty sanding, deburring, flattening, polishing, and general clean-up on ferrous and non-ferrous materials in production shops and fabrication environments. It’s designed for continuous, high-volume use.

Standard 8″ x 60″ belts at ~3,500 SFPM for fast material removal.

Yes—pneumatic belt tensioning. The manual specifies ~40 PSI (and not over 50 PSI) using the integrated regulator and gauge.

Release tension with the air valve, swap the belt, then use the JOG switch and tracking knob to center it. The air system makes swaps fast and consistent.

It includes a replaceable, reversible steel platen with an 8″ x 13″ working surface for flat work and consistent finishes.

The S8HD is a dry horizontal machine. If you need wet horizontal capability, consider the S8HW variant.
