The 342-084 2 x 48 inch sander full guard is a safety guard designed to be used with a 2 x 48 inch belt sander. It is made of steel and has a hinged door with two latches to keep the access door closed. The guard covers most of the sanding belt, but leaves the work area exposed so that you can see what you are sanding.
