Are you a steel distributor, metal manufacturer, or shop handling welding inspection and custom metal casting who needs precise, clean cuts without overheating — because the Kalamazoo K12-14W wet cutting saw is built for exactly that, so request your quote today?
The Kalamazoo K12-14W wet cutting saw handles the tough cuts that steel distributors, metal manufacturers, and custom metal casting shops deal with every day. Its 5HP motor drives a 14-inch abrasive wheel through mild steel, stainless, and cast iron — cutting solids up to 2.5″ and pipe up to 3″. The flood coolant system keeps cuts cool and clean, so samples come out ready for welding inspection without extra finishing work.
Two quick-release cam lock vises lock material down fast and hold it tight. Built from heavy-duty cast iron and steel, made in the USA, the K12-14W is a workhorse that earns its place on the shop floor.
Why the K12-14W Works Hard for You
The Kalamazoo K12-14W is a heavy-duty wet cutting saw built for shops that need clean, accurate cuts on steel and other tough metals day after day. With a powerful 5 HP motor, a built-in flood coolant system, and American-made construction, this machine handles the work that lesser saws can't. If your shop cuts, tests, or preps metal for any application, the K12-14W is ready to go.
5 HP Motor Cuts Through Anything
Slice through mild steel, stainless steel, and cast iron up to 2.5″ solid and 3″ pipe without bogging down or slowing your workflow.
Flood Coolant Keeps Cuts Clean
The 10-gallon flood coolant system pulls heat away fast, so you get smooth, burr-free cuts with no surface burning — critical for welding inspection and sample prep.
Dual Cam Lock Vises Hold Tight
Two quick-release cam lock vises grip your material securely so every cut is straight and repeatable — no slipping, no wasted stock.
Built to Handle Production Demands
Heavy-duty cast iron arm and steel base absorb vibration and hold up in demanding environments, from metal manufacturer floors to testing labs.
Adjustable Stop Controls Blade Position
The backstop controls how far the arm swings up — setting exactly how close the blade sits to your material before the cut stroke begins.
Made in the USA
Built in Kalamazoo, Michigan with quality materials and American craftsmanship — backed by a one-year parts warranty.
Top Uses for the K12-14W Wet Cutting Saw
The K12-14W is built for shops that need more than a basic chop saw. Whether you're cutting samples for quality control, prepping steel for fabrication, or handling high-volume production cuts, this machine gets the job done right. Here's where it shines most.
1
Metal sample prep for testing and inspection — welding inspection teams and quality control labs rely on the K12-14W to produce clean, accurate cross-sections for metallurgical analysis and testing.
2
Cutting steel stock to length for steel distributors — steel distributors use the K12-14W to quickly and accurately cut mild steel, stainless, and structural shapes to customer spec without heat damage or rough edges.
3
Sectioning custom metal castings — shops working with custom metal casting use this saw to cut cast iron and specialty alloys cleanly, with the flood coolant preventing heat from warping or cracking the material.
4
Production cutting on the metal manufacturer floor — metal manufacturer operations use the K12-14W for high-volume runs, cutting solid rounds, pipe, and bar stock with the adjustable stop set for consistent repeat lengths all shift long.
5
Cutting stainless steel pipe and tubing for food processing, pharmaceutical, and industrial equipment fabrication — the wet cutting system keeps the material cool so you maintain tight tolerances on heat-sensitive grades.
The K12-14W handles the cuts that dry saws struggle with. The flood coolant does the heavy lifting on heat, the dual cam lock vises hold material rock solid, and the 5 HP motor keeps up with production demand. It's the right tool when cut quality and accuracy aren't optional.
