Below is a check list of what you should consider prior to purchasing a piece of equipment:
- What do you want to use the belt sander and or grinder for? Do you want to do some general clean up work or heavy duty metal removal? If you want to just do general clean up work such as buffing, sanding and rust removal then the Kalamazoo Industries belt sanders will work. If you want to do major clean up work such as metal cast clean up, heavy metal removal, heavy burr clean up, sharpening, heavy metal removal then the Kalamazoo Industries belt grinders are the equipment for you.
- Do you need to polish your material after it’s cut. Then a wet sander is going to be your best belt. Because you not only have the coolant to keep your material cool but you can interchange belts so you can achieve your ideal finish.
- Do you need to slack belt sand and or grinder? Then consider our smaller sanders and or belt grinders such as the 2″ units their platens and work table are removable.
