Kalamazoo DS10 Stationary Disc Sander

The Kalamazoo DS10 is a tough, reliable stationary disc sander made for busy shops. It’s built to help you get clean cuts, straight edges, and smooth finishes fast. Switch out the sanding pads easily with stick-on PSA discs so you can change from rough to fine grit without wasting time. Because it’s bench-mounted, it’s compact and space saving, which means less floor space used and more room for your other tools. The DS10 does great work on end grain, edges, and even for squaring smaller parts. With laser cut parts and all-steel construction, this sander stays accurate, holds angles well, and lasts a long time — shop after shop, day after day.

Equipment Accessories

The DS10 is a stationary disc sander built for deburring, flattening, beveling, truing edges/outside curves, and precision fit-ups on wood and metal. Typical use cases include sanding end grain cleanly in wood and breaking edges on laser cut parts in metal.

It’s an all-steel, benchtop machine with a 1/2 HP, 115V TEFC motor, adjustable steel work table, and replaceable parts—designed for daily shop duty. An optional MG-10 miter gauge supports repeatable angles.

Yes. The DS10’s compact benchtop footprint delivers industrial rigidity without taking floor space. If dust is a concern, the DS10V variant integrates a vacuum base so you don’t need a separate collector under the bench (more space saving).

The 10″ aluminum disc can accommodate standard PSA (pressure-sensitive adhesive) aluminum oxide sanding discs.  You can also use zirconia, or ceramic “pads” across a wide grit range for wood, aluminum, stainless, and plastics. Swapping discs is quick and inexpensive.

This is a sweet spot for the DS10. With the right grit, you can quickly remove slag, soften sharp edges, and prep for weld or finish on steel, stainless, and aluminum. Operators often keep a coarse disc mounted for first-pass deburr and a finer disc for finish.

The adjustable steel work table provides tilt for bevels and squaring; pair it with the optional MG-10 miter gauge for precise, repeatable angles on small parts.
