WHEEL SPEED CONVERSION CHART
The abrasive wheel size changes every time you make a cut on your cutoff saw. So this wheel speed conversion chart was designed to help you with a starting point for the user. We’ve designed this easy to use drop down chart for your convince. The conversion table starts from 1″ diameter up to 72″ diameter and the surface speed begins at 4,000 up to 17,000. Having the right abrasive cutoff wheel and in addition to having the wheel run at the correct spindle speed are both equally important.
This chart/table is made up of two options. The first option: wheel diameter and rpm conversions. The second option is SFPM to rpm conversions. Additional both options can be calculated separately by the user.
